Failover redundant cluster

   Open source mail server with antivirus, antispam and content scanning

Mail server based on all open source programs, excluding antivirus and it cost exactly my working time. Price is about 700$ plus antivirus 299-560$ which you must buy by yourself, excluding CLAM.

It can be one of following AntiVirus programs:

This project including

  • Linux or FreeBSD operating system installation
  • Lastest sendmail MTA compilation, installation and tuning
  • Antivirus installation and automatic update setup
  • installation and compilation of MIMEDefang and all needed modules
  • installation and compilation of SpamAssassin and all needed modules

After that you will have a mail server with ESMTP POP3 IMAP protocols.

ESMTP including remote/external user authentification, strong antirelaying policy, possibility to use encrypted session for all mail protocols, spam filtering, virus filtering, content or/and name based attach blocking/quarantining, big attachement redirection, buggy clients generated message fixing, productivity color graph (see example1, example2) accessed via web page, secure mail relaying to internal corporate mail(exchange) server.

It is possible to add any customer requested fuctions like: company disclaimer for outgoing mails, closed user mailing lists and aliases, web interface to mailboxes. It is nothing impossible in UNIX - just tell me which type of customisation you need. :)

The server is fully manageable via web interface with multilevel administration permission

For example I had build such server for I.M.A factory

If downtime of your linux server is critical, for example it will stop production lines of your factory, that is solution you need. Of course you can buy blade servers , but too expensive. I need only a second computer and 2 addtional network card for add high aviablility to server.

Technically it is RAID-1 (mirror) over network, combined with heartbeat engine for automaticaly takeover disk and IP address resource from one computer to another. When both cluster computers up and got synced, it is possible to just power off one of them without interuption of service
